The Steam Link app brings desktop gaming to your Android device. Just pair a Bluetooth controller or Steam Controller to your device, connect to a computer running Steam, and start playing your existing Steam games.

For best performance with Android TV:
* Connect your computer using Ethernet to your router
* Connect your Android TV using Ethernet to your router

For best performance with tablets and phones:
* Connect your computer using Ethernet to your 5Ghz WiFi router
* Connect your Android device to the 5GHz band of your WiFi network

I just tried this app for the first time since giving up on my physical steam link about 5-6 years ago. Almost every game ends up going to a black screen where I have to go into my computer and force close the game to get my computer working again. It's impressive after all these years how bad this app still is, especially considering how much money valve makes. Also who made the tiny brain idea to not have a tab for installed games, you just have library option that shows everything you own.

Great app. I use it while work is dead and I gotta kill time but they really need to add an option to close a game when the stream is unresponsive. It will be working fine then the game will have a hiccup and crash the app and if I reopen the app and try to reconnect it'll just say couldn't connect to network relay and it leaves my pc running a video game til I get home only to find out it's all running fine and the only issue being the app couldn't connect to the game.

Decent but, needs a lot of work. Sadly, this app doesn't hold a candle to what Microsoft offers. This app has constant connection issues and needs some more love. If I remote my Xbox through the Xbox app, even from my phone on 5G, it works almost flawlessly from over the internet. Steam Link though, seems to struggle on my local wireless connection. This software could do much, much better. I cannot recommend it in its current state.
