In my experience, Steam Link works like charm. I use it to play games on my phone from across the house, and the latency is suprisingly not as bad as you'd think. For games like Call of Duty, it may be a bit much, but fallout 4, or something like that its barely even noticable. Definitely recommend using a controller though, weather it be connected via Wire, or Bluetooth, it definitely improves on the touch controls.

SOLVED: Turns out the analogue/dpad movement is depend on the phone orientation. I flipped it around so the Volume keys were pointing to the ground and VOILA the directions and analogue inputs worked again. So weird. Other than that, it hitches once in awhile but I'm running some VERY old (2006) wireless routers, so I'm going to blame that. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ------------------------------------- Using LG G5 (Android 8.0) It did work at Beta launch, but now the app doesn't detect Xbox One Bluetooth Dpad/Analogue button presses. The button presses register outside the app in the OS, but not in the Steam Link Controller test screen or any games. Really weird. If I find a way to solve this I'll change my score, but for now, it's not really usable for me any more. FIXED

I have been using this for over a year now and it has gotten so good over the just the last year. Biggest improvement was the sound, it's clear now and I can actually listen through the app. It is such a useful app, whether it's gaming (Skyrim works perfectly, no input lag) or being able to control your computer through this app, is such a good feature, when in a call and need to listen, I just use steam link and I can listen to the call while being on the other side of the house, I love it.
