**************************************************
Initially released in Japan in 1993, Secret of Mana took the world by storm with its innovative real-time battle system and gorgeously rendered world. It continues to stand out among other action RPGs for its seamless gameplay that anyone from beginner to veteran can enjoy.
One of the most memorable elements of the Mana series is the Ring Command menu system. With the single press of a button, a ring-shaped menu appears on the screen, where players can use items, change weapons, and do a variety of other actions without needing to switch screens. This Ring Command menu system for which the Mana series is so well known was first introduced in Secret of Mana and has since appeared in most games in the series.
Play as Randi and his two companions, Primm and Popoi, as they adventure all around the world. At the center of our epic story is the mystical power of Mana. Battle the empire in its quest for control of Mana. Befriend the eight elementals who wield the forces of nature itself. Numerous encounters await at every turn.

This game supports peripheral controllers.

Poorly made, an insult for the original, one of the best games ever made. Not even a user manual, took me an hour to figure out how to use items and weapon changes. For items, you have to press your guy for 2 seconds and release... for weapons you do the same, in the equip menu but you move your guy's head towards the top or bottom but if you go too high, you get a phone menu... the same way you move icons around you phone's home page, which means no hand shaking or it won't work... L-rd forbid you have MS. Testing was obviously not in the budget, as are most all aaa title games today. The controls are awful, made for a pre-pubescent teenage girl with needle like fingers... and I are a small man. Gimme plain old optional arrows. The game is amazing once you figure out the controls.

Controls make the game unplayable. Left is up sometimes. Holding attack charges you weapon except when it doesn't. I lost all input several times, even in town. I don't have any problems with the other games I play that use that control style, so it's not my phone. Waste of money. Never buying another mobile Square game ever again.

I've been extremely disappointed in this game. Seems most others notice the concerns with controls, albeit I have a few other issues: 1) The ring menu will essentially save sporadically to one previously used, and you cannot scroll down no matter what menu it's on you have to scroll up 2) The AI for your party is 10x worse than the original. 3) You require Internet connection to play the game .... 🤦‍♂️
