⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best in class ✅ Reasons to use: beautifully simple, intuitive user interface, dead easy to set up, instant notifications when expenses or payments are added, quick and knowledgeable customer service response, no ads, no need to sign up to use, can categorize expenses. 💾 You can export a summary as a PDF or Excel file. Absolutely no reasons to avoid. 🙏 Would love to have 🔍 search/filtering option.

This app makes shared expenses so much easier to manage and to keep track of! It is easy to understand and use, and it's very clear how much money one person owes another. It even sends you a notification when a new expense is added. If I had to make any suggestions, I would simply ask for the possibility of naming payments, the same way expenses are able to be assigned a name — although the app is still perfect without the feature.

Had used Splitwise for a while and due to subscriptions I had to find an alternative, and Splid has been perfect so far. It's quite simple, has all the necessary features. Extremely useful for our last group trip, and the ability to set a default currency but also adjust the currency for each expense is very nice. I would like for the app to include the ability to add pictures of receipts. Possibly in the future it would be nice to have a simple OCR scan feature to automate some stuff
