About this app

Oticon Companion provides you with discreet, improved control over your hearing aids – so you can personalize your listening experience for any environment, the ability to find your hearing aids if they become lost, remote support from your hearing care professional when you need it, and much more.

The Oticon Companion App is compatible with all Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids. However, some app features may require a specific hearing aid model or a firmware update. Please consult your hearing care professional for assistance with firmware updates.

With Oticon Companion, you can:

• Adjust the volume of your hearing aids and various settings (e.g. noise reduction, and sound and streaming equalizer)
• Switch between predefined programs according to the different listening situation you are in
• Monitor your battery levels
• Help you find your hearing aids if you lose them
• Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech when you need to focus on conversation.
• Customize your surrounding sounds with the sound equalizer*
• Set and track hearing aid wear-time goals with the HearingFitness™ feature*
• Use the streaming equalizer for a personalized listening experience. The streaming equalizer is available for all Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya
• Have your hearing aids adjusted and receive counseling from the comfort of your own home – via a live video call with your hearing care professional
• Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids; control multiple TV Adapters or devices, such as Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip, which can be used both for streaming and as a remote microphone

The interface of this new app is good and I feel like the sound booster is working more properly than the previous app. The only problem I could find right now is that It is very slow when opening and pairing compared to previous app(Oticon on) and also it would be better if there is an option that allow you to close the app but the control command which allow you to control the hearing aid it still in the notification panel and It still say "connected" in the notification even whenBluetoot off

I just signed up for this new app after being prompted. The one-star rating may change with additional use of the app. However, signing up for the app and adding it to my homepage was a pain. It didn't seem to finish or complete the start-up. Then I couldn't find it listed as Oticon....never thought to look under "companion"; and frankly, a weird name for a hearing aid app. I wonder, was the weird beeping that I experienced for the first time in right aid, a notification to upgrade?

recently had to upgrade to this, due to the discontinued support for 'Oticon On'... the interface is nice, but the frequent 'disconnects' and choppy media streaming are not; turning off my hearing aids and/or restarting my phone doesn't help, and I'm not in a position to replace my android phone, so don't suggest it. I had NO issues with Oticon On, I don't know why this one was forced onto everyone out of the blue... half a star, if I could leave half of one.
