This hearing aid app is not made for the Samsung phone or possibly any Android phone. It constantly loses connection on one side or the other. If you want to listen to music or a podcast you can only hear it in one ear. For that matter any bluetooth connection is the same way. in order to get the hearing back in both ears you have to turn off your phone and restart it. Then you'll probably lose the connection if you stop your music say to answer the phone it only comes through in one ear.

Update: when hearing aids are connected to app/blue tooth everthing works fine including direct streaming. The problem is still with connectivity. Sometimes aids stay connected for 2 or 3 hours other times only minutes. The toggle of airplane mode works to reconnect but is a pain to have to do it so often. I hope you figure the problem out doon. The hearing aids are great as far as quality of hearng but the app issues really are a black mark for Beltone.

The app works some times. Loses connection regularly. Doesn't work at all for phone calls. I have talked to my cellular provider support and Beltone support for hours. Both say it should work, but neither has any idea how to fix it. I would not recommend purchasing Beltone hearing aids for the price since you can't use Bluetooth for calls.

Note on Android 12 compatibility
You may experience issues with the connectivity between your hearing aids and your smartphone, specifically with one of the hearing instruments not connecting. As a workaround, you can turn flight mode off/on or pair the hearing aids again.
Please ask your hearing care professional or visit our compatibility pages on our website to learn more.
