This game has NO ADS and doesn't overly push in-app purchases. You can fully enjoy the game without a single microtransaction. Art style is cute, and the difficulty curve is well-balanced. The early levels are ridiculously easy, giving you a chance to get used to the game mechanics without getting frustrated. Unfortunately, the game often does not explain what items are for or how to use them, and many items seem pointless until you look up how to use them online.

Don't get me wrong, this game is adorable, fun, and has a huge Pokémon roster - however the grindy nature of the events; the difficulty curve being all over the place; and the way the game tries to push you into spending money/acorns on everything (deliveries, stamina, shuffling, extra turns, DLC, etc) does bring it down a little, in my eyes at least. Apart from those gripes, I do enjoy this a lot and will keep coming back to play it! Try it if you're looking for a cute time-waster!

Update 2: way too many cutscenes and events now. Ruined it. Original Review: This game is fun, adorable, and admittedly a little bit addictive. You can pay for more acorns to get through levels easier but with a little patience and perseverance you can absolutely get full enjoyment out of this game for free despite what others are saying. It is a very enjoyable little game. Update 1: It was a lot better before the big revamp from Cafe Mix to ReMix, so I took away a star, but still good.
