With the "Device Care" app, anyone can easily keep their smartphone in good condition. The intuitive screen layout and interactions help the user check the condition of their device at a single glance and maintain their smartphone easily without expert knowledge, as it enables them to take prompt actions if problems, such as malware (viruses, spyware), arise.

If you are here because you also were curious about that device protection thing yeah, there is no way to turn it off anymore. Can't force stop, clear cache or data won't do anything, "uninstalling" leaves the app there anyway. At most a factory reset and losing all of your data. Really Samsung, you can't just bait people to enable something and make it permanent.

So... this app has a permission where it can automatically install apps. I am unable to turn it off and there is a warning below it that says "installing apps from this source may be harmful." Whatever is going on with Samsung is not okay. Apps are being installed without our knowledge that have permission to install more apps. If you haven't been going through your apps and checking permissions regularly, now is the time to do so.

can't uninstall it can't remove permissions. someone is using this in my phone remotely in a malicious way. these things should be optional to remove. there are too many forced programs and apps even in "unlocked" devices that can be used against you if in the wrong hands. something I'm experiencing now. if it's unlocked it's unlocked you should be able to do as you wish seeing as I paid almost 2k for my phone at the time of purchase!
