Needed a remote in a pinch for our stay at an AirBnb because the batteries in the TV remote were dead. The ads were ridiculous. I would understand a couple ads here and there, but it was every few button presses. I tried to turn the volume up and all it would do is pull up the upgrade app splash screen every time followed by an ad. The app works in a pinch, but the amount of ads is beyond insane. Instead of dealing with the ads I'm buying batteries tomorrow while I'm out and about. Do better.

If I'm using the app to watch my TV, no way should I be forced to watch 2+ 10 sec long ads just to change the channel. This is easily one of the worst apps. I'm uninstalling this abomination. Never again! You must think I'm an idiot if you think I'd purchase ANY subscription for a universal remote control app. I can think of far better ways to spend money. What a grift!

open the app, ad. you get the "please pay for me" screen. connect to tv, ad. then another "please pay" screen. press about 3 buttons, another ad. also if at any point you let your phone sleep, it starts all over with about 4 ads before you can press a button. do yourself a favor and either find a different app or just go buy a physical universal remote. oh and if you are only using it for a short time for some reason, and dont want a lifetime or annual subscription, the cost is about $5 A WEEK
