Ratings and reviews

Great idea but poorly executed. The ad made me think I'd learn things but the pace is too slow and the content not really engaging. No women authors suggested. You don't need to create an account initially so that's a plus. They didn't properly test the app on Android: if you use button nav you'll get blocked because the nav overlaps the only button on the screen. Poor QA, I can't proceed, content is a bit boring, I'm gonna have to uninstall.

The app didn't work for me and honestly with the UI, I just wouldn't get on with it anyway. I contacted support shortly after paying for premium and they advised that they wouldn't refund. I asked again, advising the app doesn't work for me, I then got told that all the could do is offer 2 extra months free (for an app that doesn't seem to work for me). Not once did they care trying to find out why it's not working or assist me - extremely poor customer service, do better.

I dislike the new update that has a 2 question learning tool at the end of each 5 minute summary. the summary is written at a very low reading level. I'm no longer being inspired by quotes from authors or getting snippets of great books. I'm rating a 2 because the best things about the platform is that it's easy to use and acts like click bait for engagement. I'm glad I didn't do a year's subscription now, I would be asking for money back. I would have given it a 4 before the March update.
