Love most of the functionality and happy you finally made it to Android. Have an issue with the "archive" feature. That function seems intended to mirror the "saved" section on desktop site. Neither section appears as an option on the other platform and the two don't match / sync. I now have 2 separate lists called 2 separate things on 2 separate platforms. Either allow editing of archive, add saved to the app or better suggestion..both.

I like the dedicated reader, but it has some flaws currently: typing a comment is a nightmare, it eats your letters and there is massive typing lag. The other big flaw is that not all content blocks are rendered in the app, so sometimes you get "unsupported element" squares. But it opens quickly, and it's definitely nicer than gmail, especially when an article runs long. (Also, can we finally get footnote links to the text?)

Fine for reading only, but there's a major issue with typing comments in the app. The cursor frequently (at least once every 5-20 characters) jumps back to the left side of the letter I just typed. This issue persists across keyboard apps (Google Board, SwiftKey, Samsung Keyboard) and across devices and operating systems (Google Pixel 7 Pro on Android 13, Samsung S7+ on Android 12), and I've never seen it happen in any other app, so I'm fairly confident it's an app problem and not a me problem.
