I like the dedicated reader, but it has some flaws currently: typing a comment is a nightmare, it eats your letters and there is massive typing lag. The other big flaw is that not all content blocks are rendered in the app, so sometimes you get "unsupported element" squares. But it opens quickly, and it's definitely nicer than gmail, especially when an article runs long. (Also, can we finally get footnote links to the text?)

Love most of the functionality and happy you finally made it to Android. Have an issue with the "archive" feature. That function seems intended to mirror the "saved" section on desktop site. Neither section appears as an option on the other platform and the two don't match / sync. I now have 2 separate lists called 2 separate things on 2 separate platforms. Either allow editing of archive, add saved to the app or better suggestion..both.

I like the apps on their own, but my Substack readers don't seem to sync consistently. I use Substack App on iOS (iPad), Android (Pixel 7), and the web. Sometimes it syncs, and sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes if I sign out it does. I'm trying to figure out the best way to use Substack across devices and can use some advice. If I can get this sync stuff worked out, the app becomes a 5 in my book.
