U.S. customers can fund money transfers using bank transfer, debit card, credit card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, making it simple to send money overseas whenever needed. Ratings and reviews

Using Google Pay to send money didn't work. The Customer service advised me to cancel the transaction and make a new one using my card directly rather than Google Pay. However by doing this I wouldn't have received the introductory rate. They weren't able to do anything about this, or to change the payment method on my original transaction. They also weren't able to open a ticket to get someone to look into why Google Pay wasn't working with their platform.

Very bad experience with this app. I completed all the steps correctly, but the money was not sent even though the amount was deducted from my account. The app kept asking me to verify my ID again and again, even after completing the verification multiple times. I contacted customer care through chat, and they told me to cancel the transaction and try again. They said the refund could take 1–10 days. Luckily, I received the refund instantly.

They offer low rates compared to a competitor. I found that Taptap Send offers not only better rates, but your money is sent instantly using a debit card. Remitly takes three to five days to send using a checking or savings account, but offers a lower FX rate compared to sending it through Taptap Send using a debit card. Also, too much verification process started recently with remitly even though I have sent over 100 transfers.
