Ratings and reviews

Interestingly, my first review got deleted. Horrible experience: card delivery without tracking took very long. All transfers take very long, ignoring EU rules, also no tracking. Charges are ridiculous, 1 EUR to receive(!) 30 EUR, 1.29 EUR to send tiny amount to my other account. App flags a receiver, both his accounts, though sent there many times. 2 months ago that complete outage where they blamed individual merchants instead of admitted their cards & system had failure for days.

Worst bank I've ever used. A €200 transfer has been stuck for 9 days. Support requested excessive personal information about the sender, including address, date of birth, and even a passport copy. After I provided the requested details, they stopped responding for 3 days. I was told the review would take up to 48 hours, but that deadline passed with no updates. App support only sends template replies and cannot help. Poor communication, long delays, and high fees. Would not recommend.

App seems very dodgy. I opened account and attempted many times to connect monese to my main bank account. I tried for over an hour but every time received the same error message "something went wrong please try again later". I opened my main banking app and even though monese gave me error message they had connected through open banking to my main account. Seems very questionable to me. I've disconnected monese from my main bank and am deleting my monese account as we speak. Do better!!!!
