Ratings and reviews

A little bit disappointed by this new version of Locus Map 4. I would prefer to give money only at the beginning, instead of being considered as a wallet that has to pay each time I want to do something. To be clear: the problem is not giving money because it is normal to pay for it - it is only the felling of being only a wallet of money. Locus Map 3 was much better and I liked to give money for it - it was also an add-free app. Please recruit someone to develop a marketing strategy ...

The app tries to be an all-in-one solution but have mixed feelings. Geocaching integration is average - no FP rating in map view, you cant edit comment in log manager if the cache is not downloaded, UI pushes you down with a ton of settings - some usable some not. With that said, it's easy for me to use the official Geocaching app. For car routing, Sygic is better. As a sports tracker, there are mixed feelings – dashboards are editable but clunky. Garmin plugin is from the last century.

Been a user of the free version for about 5 years and premium for another 5 by now. It's still by far my favourite osm / outdoor app. Especially in combination with the openandromaps offline vector maps and Elevate themes. For offline routing you can also easily combine it with brouter.
