IGN Maps is the 100% free cartographic and navigation application designed by IGN, available on mobile and tablet. Find the precision of IGN base maps (IGN plan and topographic maps) combined with the wealth of thematic geographic data offered by the IGN and its partners (administrative, land, agriculture, forestry, tourism, protected areas, transport, etc.) to explore and understand the French territory.

Good plan ! Click on the interactive map to obtain additional information on French territory such as the characteristics of a building or the type of cultivation of a field.

Fly over France and observe the evolution of French landscapes in times of climate change by comparing, like a geographer, IGN maps or aerial photographs from different eras. Seen from the sky, the mark of man on the territory is surprising!

Basically a trimmed-down version of their website. The update makes the UI prettier but heavier, overloaded with features while losing some functionality (e.g. no more geological maps). No way to display local tiles, no way to import tiles from OGC-compliant servers. In a nutshell, one is better served using their website in a mobile browser.

Just available in French. At least, it should be shown in English too.

Ne marche plus. I liked being able to consult IGN and photos aériennes on this app but suddenly it doesn't work despite reinstall. Being able to copy paste coordinates would have been helpful.

Nouveauté : l'import, l'export et le partage d'itinéraires peuvent désormais être réalisés depuis et vers le format GPX
Sur le tracé et le calcul d'itinéraires, le survol du profil altimétrique centre la carte sur le point correspondant.
Changements d'interface.
Ajout dans la section "Informations" du lien vers le code source de l'application.
Correctif : Sur certains appareils Android, l'application tentait d'ouvrir tous types de fichiers et les numéros de téléphone.
