I used to love this game, but since update 26 they have basically ruined everything. If the in game purchases were not expensive enough, they changed the universal means of unit upgrades to be way more of a grind while taking away free opportunities to upgrade and sticking it behind a pay wall. I used to spend quite a bit of money on the game each month as I enjoyed it, but this update just proves how the much they don't care about the player base. Enough is enough, time to call it a day. I QUIT

Standard mobile game. Nothing special and throttled to force you into paying. Yes technically you can progress without paying but to do so you will have to put up with 1 win out of 10 and its just tedious and boring. Only downloaded this to play thru a 3rd party app and now that I've got the most points for this game I'm willing to waste my time on I'm done. Thankfully.

The game itself is really good. However, some of the battles, you get drawn against some really high LVL players, the balance in matchmaking is horrific for some battles. It feels like you could be playing in a league you feel comfortable, but come up against a opponent that should be in the top tier leagues. Most opponents I've drawn have had almost double by critical strike.

The summertime Rush Royale update – version 26.0! You will get:

An updated method of upgrading Legendary units, and more ways of receiving them;
Division system introduced: the greater the critical damage, the more rewards!
Item and hero levels are equalized in recurring events, and new rewards are available therein
Introducing the Amulet of Swiftness, as well as talents for the Archer and the Sentry
Balance changes to units and certain items: Portal Keeper, Reaper, Priestess etc.
