Ratings and reviews

In dropping my rating by another star. This app and company just keep getting worse and worse. I need to contact our upcoming hotel, but the feature to contact the hotel through the app hasn't been working for the last week. There also seems to be no way to get help from a human anymore, there is just an AI bot that can't do anything beyond cancel a booking. I'm in an awful hotel, so bad that I've had to leave in the middle of night, and I can't get any assistance with a refund.

Selection is more limited than on competitor apps, but the 1 night free for 10 nights is great. Big downside for the app is that bookings often disappear - they will show when I'm logged into the desktop site, or manually enter the booking details, but it's a big hassle that bookings regularly keep disappearing from the app. Rewards site also often broken and error message keeps popping up... overall, a mediocre app for an otherwise good service.

I would give it zero if I could. Why did they change it? Used to work perfectly and now is garbage. I live in Japan and want prices in JPY but interface in English. Some app screens only display in Japanese and can't be changed to English if my location is Japan and currency is JPY. Also, when you call the customer service number and select the option for English support you still get put through to a Japanese agent. Seems it's impossible to speak with an English speaking agent.
