Ratings and reviews

The notification system is both basic (you basically have notifications on, including promotions, or totally off). In general a good system. However, some time after buying a lifetime subscription, my account was limited. Edit: Have tried to talk to the team to resolve this issue. They responded saying they have limited my account, permanently. No appeal. At the mercy of the app owners.

Annoying notifications (not for new messages but other things) that can't be turned off. Edit: changed to 1 star. It got worse: I bought a lifetime license and still get "upsell" messages all the time that have a timer that forces me to wait 5 seconds or so before I can skip them. Unbelievable. This company does not deserve any money.

Concept is good, but as a woman, you see a lot of men in your inbox who are not looking for language exchange. They're not learning your language or speak the language you're learning. It would be a massive improvement if you could choose to only make your profile visible to e.g. other women. I'm interested in language exchange, but if people are just using this as a potential dating app, then I'm out.
