We’re building a fast, ultra customizable browser that prioritizes your privacy (not our own profit). An Internet browser that adapts to you, not the other way around. Vivaldi browser comes packed with smart features including desktop-style tabs, a built-in Ad Blocker, protection against trackers, and a private translator. Browser options like themes and layout choices help you make Vivaldi your own.

Personalized Speed Dial

Browse faster by adding your favorite bookmarks as Speed Dials on the new tab page, to keep them one tap away. Sort them into folders, pick from a bunch of layout options, and make it your own. You can also switch Search Engines on the fly using Search Engine Nicknames while typing in Vivaldi’s Address Field (like ""d"" for DuckDuckGo or ""w"" for Wikipedia).

Vivaldi is the world’s first browser on Android to introduce two rows of mobile browser tabs. Long-press the New Tab button & select “New Tab Stack” to check it out! Choose between using a Tab Bar (which works great on larger screens and tablets) or a Tab Switcher to manage tabs.

Genuine Privacy and Security

Vivaldi doesn’t track your behavior. And we try to block other trackers that are trying to follow you around the internet. Keep your Internet browsing history to yourself with Private Tabs. When you use private browser tabs, searches, links, sites visited, cookies, and temporary files won't be stored.

Built-in Ad- & Tracker blocker

Popups and ads are among the most annoying things about browsing the Internet. Now you can get rid of them in a few clicks. A built-in Ad Blocker blocks privacy-invading ads and stops trackers from following you around the web - no extensions needed. P.S. Ad Blocker and pop-up blockers also make your browsing experience faster and safer.

Vivaldi comes with built-in tools, so you get better app performance and spend less jumping between apps to get things done. Here's a taste:

Ratings and reviews

In the last few weeks I've been encountering an issue where the refresh button on the address bar disappears randomly. While I did not notice general rule how it happens, opening new tab and choosing a site from the Speed Dial usually fixes it. However it's still quite an inconvenience. Other than that, this browser suits me the most. s25 ultra user

I switched to Vivaldi after deciding to move away from Firefox (for compatibility & speed reasons). Being based on Chrome it inherits some of the things I don't like about Chrome, but the developers have made some good choices. I like the ability to share profile settings between devices (it's mostly extensions, not settings or integrations).

I'm in love with Vivaldi! On pc it's my main browser, and I tested pretty much every browser out there (including Edge, Firefox, Brave and Chrome). I've been using Vivaldi for years now, and I'll keep using it for probably the rest of my life. The amount of customization I can do on both the pc and mobile version doesn't compare to any other browser I've used, and it still manages to be relatively fast and responsive. And perhaps most importantly, I know that my data isn't being sold to anyone.

What’s new

Vivaldi 8.1 arrives in time to let you enjoy the summer in style:

- Custom app icons: 20 new different options so you can add your personal touch to your Vivaldi icon, going from pastel colours to camouflage.
- New setting to open PDFs in Vivaldi: you can now select whether you want to open PDFs in Vivaldi or with another app.
