Compact and affordable, the Wildlife Acoustics Song Meter Mini and Song Meter Mini Bat wildlife recorders give researchers a simple and affordable, yet powerful tool for recording bats, birds, frogs, and other vocal wildlife. Ratings and reviews

After pairing the device, I'm unable to open a configure window because whenever I click on it, the app exits automatically. I tried reinstalling the app multiple times, but not even once I could open the configure window. I got a popup message saying— "Something went wrong with SM Config SM Config closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error." My friend also faced the same issue, but it worked fine after reinstalling a few times.

Do not use this app. The Configurator app no longer automatically detects recorders on any of my devices, even when executing a manual connection. This was not an issue prior to the ver. 2.0 update, and has become a major problem for my ongoing research. Uninstall and reinstall has failed to address the issue across multiple recorders, and firmware reinitialisations also do not work.

Unusable. Crashes when trying to pair with the recorder, when trying to set a schedule, when checking FAQs. Basically every function of the app has a 50% chance of crashing on the first try. *If* it manages to pair with the recorder, the frequent crashes eventually desync the recorder as well, forcing you to remove the batteries and do a hard reset.
