Same story with the Active 10 app. I turned it and my fitbit on. I walked for 17 minutes. Active 10 says I walked 5 and 4 were brisk. I've already gone to my settings and marked off to allow it past the battery saving mode; so that shouldn't be the problem. I've also had it be accurate a time or two, so again, that shouldn't be the problem. I would like to run an accurate version of this. Continuing-just got back from 11 minute walk. APP says 4 minutes, one brisk.. ;(

This app has definitely spurred me on to move more. Love reaching a target and going beyond, to gain another trophy ! However, I'm beginning to doubt its accuracy, as some recent walks have definitely been over 10 mins brisk, but app has not picked up the movements? Wed 24 Sept, I've done 289 mins of brisk walking, yet it's showing 19 x 10 trophies, which just doesn't make sense ? However, that ratio of walking/brisk walking is improving, which is good.

I looked at my app to see how much brisk walking I had done only for it to tell me I can't see it without installing Google Fit. I am being prevented from using the app by Google who are making me install their app to integrate with data from elsewhere. I don't want the google app. I don't want to integrate data. Why are you making me do this? It makes my personal data feel very insecure and less private. I just won't use the app any more after using it for years. Extremely disappointing.

Your steps data is automatically stored in your Google account by your Android device. Active 10 is just asking permission for this steps data to be sent to to Active 10 in order for the app to function. The mechanism for your steps data being shared is Google Fit API. No data is sent from Active 10 to Google.
