Very basic for such a large company - essentials and basic features like sentry mode, gps tracking etc are missing. Very disappointing considering these could be implemented with a simple update. This company is well established apparently however the software is a disaster. With 90k + engineers you should be ahead of the competition with this sort of thing.

Overall the app is alright, there would be a few changes that I would make though, currently you can only view in km a setting to change to miles would be nice. When you use the unlock feature etc you have to type in a password. Please let me use face ID or biometric fingerprint. Finally, the OTA updates keep failing for me, let me get notified about an update through the BYD app and give me the option to manually download the update onto a USB to update myself.

The app is OK, but there are quite a few frustrations. Why put a pin in to access functions within the app when you have to log in to access? Functions are REALLY limited. Seat memory is a no brainer to add given it is a screen function. The NFC card would be superfluous if this was in the app. Service centre information for WA is different in the app to the website. App says street number is 300, website says 384. Quite a difference. One of them is wrong.
