This is made for your installer, not you as a consumer. They need this to commission your battery stack. You can get most of the key stats from your inverter software anyway. The extra stats might be good for a warranty claim once in a blue moon, dunno. Firmware update process is a bit fiddly, leave it to the experts.

Really disappointed with the app and the network capabilities of the battery. The battery connected by LAN to the local network, but the application cannot detect it, it asks to connect to the battery's own Wifi network. Which fortunately is off at the moment, otherwise when it is on, it poses a 10/10 cyber security risk. The battery's Wifi AP has a common format for SSID containing some different letter for different batteries, but the password is all the same for all BYD batteries.

Though I have connected to the battery via WiFi the app shows mobile data connection and has to switch off the mobile data to detect the connection. Is there anyway other than restarting the unit to switch on WIFI.
