When on the road, the Autel Charge application offers the following features:
• Start and stop charging using your Autel Charge card or by scanning the QR code on the public charger.
• Displays the availability status of public chargers on the map. (available, in-use, out of order, etc.)
• Filter chargers displayed on the map by desired connector types.
• Filter by required charging power on the map.
• View site information within the map including pictures, address, energy prices, hours of operation, quantity of chargers and connectors.
• Navigate to a desired site using the integrated navigation map.
• Link your credit card to streamline the payment process using public chargers.
• Scan QR code to start and stop the charger with just one tap.

Ratings and reviews

App was easy to set up and connect to my Maxicharger Home. Seems to show useful charging statistics, though they disappear when it stops charging. If you leave the app for a few hours and reopen it, it will say the charger is offline and that you need to connect via Bluetooth. There's a button to connect the Bluetooth, but when you tap it, it makes a click sound but otherwise does nothing. At that point you have to close and reset the app. After that, it seems to work ok again for a while.

Oct 2022 update makes it harder to adjust the power on the fly, since they removed it from the "View More" graph screen, and fails to fix the issue where the indicated max charge current on the main settings screen does NOT match my chosen setting at the time. So often have to adjust down from my absolute max (48 amps) versus starting from where it actually is, e.g., 6 amps. AND if you open the app by touching the "charging started" Notification, there is NO WAY to adjust charging amps at all!

The charger is of good quality but: plastic lock on the J plug is fragile and cable is too stiff in the cold. Ok for South US, forget it if you live up North. App provides basic function to schedule charge, limit the Amps (unfortunately not programmable) and track usage. REASON FOR THE 2 STARS: every few months, the App looses it's connection with the charger and cannot add back as it's "already registered to another user" 😬. Trouble chatting with support is painful at best, or unsuccessful.
