Horrible experience. Portforwarding should be done in router settings. Instead there's text asking you to download BlueCurve "to make it easier" - Which is the wrong app name btw... In the right app the FAQ says click Advanced Settings, but what they DON'T tell you is that that button is hidden behind WiFi>View WiFi Equipment first. Then they also don't tell you how to set up a Static IP which you'll need if you don't want to redo PF every startup. THANKS, Shaw. You SURE made it easier. Jerks.

The app and gateway have less functionality and responsiveness than I'd like. I'm an IT pro and I have added a dozen computers to my home network in the last week and was notified about one. The gateway doesn't allow firewall customization as I'd like. I'm going to need a third party firewall to get the function I need. i.e. changing my DNS servers to preferred non-shaw DNS.

Pease stop trying to tell us the app makes it easier. It's awful, plain and simple Navigating is a pain: you can go three or four levels deep into the menu and then clicking the back button on screen takes you all the way to the home screen. so if you want to modify multiple profiles it's an exercise in patience. When you find port forwarding it's a nightmare. sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. And if you have forwards for a device that leaves your network you can't change or delete them
