Great app! I've played remotely on my phone, even without a controller! It is so fun to play games like Diablo 2, and I rarely have issues even though my connection is 2.4 when it suggests 5G. A small fix I'd suggest is to make the basic controls mimic the xbox controller less because I feel like it would give a better reaction time, and reaction time is everything in a game.

The dedicated gamepass app was removed. You are driven to use the consolidated Xbox app. As of November 2024 cloud streaming is not working in the Xbox or Xbox beta app . The only options available are to install to console. The Only way to play a game via cloud is through the browser. In the current state of Xbox this is unacceptable. You take away a perfectly functioning application capable of streaming games via cloud (gamepass app) and the replacement doesn't work (xbox app) .

Personally the game pass app was a lot better to use. It was a lot easier to play your game pass games if your stuck at work but are unable to leave early. And the whole remote play function makes no sense since you would have to be within a certain range of your xbox to use if you have that feature turned on. Just totally disappointed with the ending support of a great app that made playing certain games easy without having to be near the xbox.
