The app works without location sharing on. I know, because I have it turned off. It's a light switch. There is no possible reason for you to need to track me for that. Stop asking every time i open the app. Update: do not use this app. Quote from their own customer service about the location data: " we will collect real-time precise or non-precise geolocation information about you."

App no longer works. Everything was fine and one day all my devices go offline. They have worked fine for YEARS. All my Alexa stuff works fine Govee products work fine. It's just things that run on this app. And it also no longer connects to Alexa servers as devices show no connection. I will stick to things that don't require Smart Life/Tuya from here on out. Just way more hassle than it's worth to save a couple dollars and be dependent on servers in China.

It's not clear at all how to turn off spam messages, but there are other apps compatible with my devices such as Gosund and Kasa. Try them first. If I can't stop the spam, i'll have to remove all devices, add them to another app and perhaps redo some scripts. It might be best to avoid the app in the first place and save yourself the trouble. This is the most obtrusive app I've ever used, and sends spam ads to your phone when you aren't even using the app.
