About this app

The Amazon Shopper Panel is an opt-in, invitation-only program where participants can earn monthly rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon.com, completing short surveys, and enabling ad verification for the ads they see from Amazon’s own advertising or third-party businesses that advertise through Amazon Ads.

Earning rewards is easy. Simply upload eligible receipts every month by using the Amazon Shopper Panel app to take pictures of paper receipts or by forwarding email receipts to [e-mail] and you’ll earn up to $10 towards either an Amazon Balance or a charitable donation. You’ll earn additional rewards each month for every survey you complete or if you enable ad verification. Space is limited and you may only be eligible to participate in certain parts of the program. You can check if you are eligible by tapping on the tabs for Receipts, Surveys, and Ads in the app.

Your participation will help brands offer better products and make Amazon ads more relevant.

Participation in the Amazon Shopper Panel is voluntary and panelists can stop using the app, sharing receipts, answering survey questions, or enabling ad verification at any time. Amazon only receives information that panelists explicitly choose to share via the Shopper Panel, such as information extracted from uploaded receipts (including product or retailer names), survey responses, or ads they have seen.

VpnService Utilization: If you enable the ad verification feature, the Amazon Shopper Panel will utilize Android's VpnService to setup a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. The Amazon Shopper Panel will not install a VPN on your device but does use VPN device permissions to setup an Amazon DNS (https://panel.amazon.com/#faq-how-panel-using-ads), which enables Amazon to collect and use information about the ads you see from Amazon. This can include Amazon’s own advertising or ads from third-party businesses that advertise through Amazon Ads. The Amazon DNS set up is not required to enable the other Amazon Shopper Panel features. You can opt out of ad verification at any time.

The Amazon Shopper Panel is available to a limited number of Amazon customers in the US. If you received an invitation, download the app now. Interested customers who did not receive an invitation can download the app to join the waitlist and will be notified via email if space becomes available.

How do I close my Amazon account?

If you wish to delete only your Amazon Shopper Panel data or opt out of the program, you may do so through the Amazon Shopper Panel app.

I don't know what they did, but the app is absolutely a nightmare to use now. The whole process for scanning the receipts is slow and honestly almost not worth the effort. From pressing the 'Take Picture' button to taking the photo itself and then trying to press submit, every single button has to be smashed multiple times and it keeps going in slow motion. I hope they fix it, because it's going to not be worth the effort at this rate. It took me over 25mins to go through 10 receipts!!!

Great rewards for minimal work and information. Surveys are short and simple and add a nice little surprise element when opening the app. I am able to use my monthly gift card rewards from the entire year to LITERALLY cover my daughter's Christmas gifts! I would like to see, in future, an easier, more seamless way to submit online receipts. Possibly, some loyalty account linking, or at least through main email accounts. But overall, HUGE fan, happy with payouts, and will remain a loyal user!

Have had this app since 4-18-23 and I've made over $70 to date. It's a process and takes patience but does pay. I put it all in Amazon gift cards so it was all on one place to use it. The only down aspect is I consider myself lucky bc now there is a huge waiting list. Even for me. I'm on the waiting lists to be able to add receipts. And it's only $2/month for them seeing what ads your seeing. And random surveys I wish were more. $6.75 is the most I've gotten in 1 month.
