KinderSmart is a mobile app for smartphones to allow parents and other authorized adults to sign children in and out of care at the childcare provider. All authentication information is instantly available in the system, for up-to-date queries about children in care. Time stamp information is available for time-and-attendance tracking, reporting and of course eventual provider reimbursement.

I seem to be having the same issue as many others have reported. I upgraded to a new Samsung Galaxy phone and now when opening the app it gets stuck on the splash screen. Tried clearing data and reinstalling but the issue persists.

I switched to a new phone (same number) and now the app simply won't open: it hangs on the splash screen, or shows a blank white (sometimes black) screen. Still happens after a restart and clearing app data.

After upgrading to a new phone (Android 14 on Pixel 8) the app just hangs on the loading splash screen. This persists after clearing the app's data or reinstalling. Very disappointing.
