Including layers of security and privacy controls, Delaware Mobile ID is a contactless, convenient way to verify your identity from your phone.

Delaware Mobile ID allows you to control what information you share during a transaction. For example, when buying age-restricted items, the app can confirm you are of legal age without having to share your birth date or address.

Intuitive and easy-to-use, Mobile ID is unlocked by a selfie match to verify identity, or by using a self-selected pin so your personal information is always protected.

In five simple steps, you can register for your Delaware mID:

1. Download the app and set permissions
2. Verify access to your phone number
3. Use your device camera to scan the front and back of your driver’s license or ID card
4. Follow the app’s registration steps to take a selfie
5. Set up app security and you’re good to go!

Please note: Delaware Mobile ID is considered an official state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. Please continue to carry your physical ID because not all entities are able to verify mID yet.

This app requires an Android 7 and newer. Android 10-based EMUI 10 devices are NOT supported.

Went from a 1 to 5. It's perfect now. Actually exceeds expectations. The web page wouldn't load once I clicked the link in the text message. I went to the app info and switched Open by default from In the App to In the Browser and it sent me a text but there was no nerd to open it. Got an in app message saying phone was ready. In short, if it doesn't work try switching open by default In the Browser. Good luck. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great, but Works off and on. Loved this app at first then it started crashing. I Uninstaller and reinstalled and had to set everything back up then it worked. This happened a few times so it's annoying. The nice thing about the app is you didn't need to bring your license along, but since this app is not trustworthy, you still need your license. It might be a good idea if they texted you before doing an update so you know when to check to see if it is works before leaving license home.

It was cool going through the process to capture the authenticity of my license, and my visual facial structure. It's a great comfort and convenience to have on my phone.
