Sometimes buggy. I used to use AirBattery which never failed to load information, but it looks like that's gone now. This app is good enough but does fail to load occasionally. It would be nice if there were an option in the app to control for how long the popup remains on your screen before automatically self-dismissing.

It did exactly what I needed it to up until today. I didn't have my airpods case on me and wanted to check the battery level of the single airpod I had with me. I opened the app to check the battery level and the popup and just started cycling through Left, Right, Both, and Both with case in no particular order. My only thought is maybe it's because I usually just swipe the pop-up away and don't need to use it, and now it's cycling through historical notifications trying to catch up?

I've tried many different apps for airpods on Android, but this is definitely the best one. There is a lot of customization for it and the notification that shows the battery of the airpods is accurate so far. The only thing I would add is options so you can increase/decrease the volume, pause/play, and skip songs by tapping on the airport if possible.
