So, after I spent upwards of $130 on my headphones, I'm getting pushed ads on the app. This is annoying and disruptive, and there's apparently no way to opt. The functionality of the app is fine but it's pretty ridiculous to be blocked by an ad for 5-10 seconds before I can close it out. I honestly wouldn't have gotten the headphones if I knew this was part of it.

Basically spyware with a few potential benefits for some users. Anker gives itself a huge number of permissions (i.e. location, access to all kinds of files), which are not disclosed and can't opt out of until after you downloaded the app. For whatever reasons, they don't have an app that just lets you adjust the settings on your headset. If privacy is of concern and/or you work on or have to discuss discuss sensitive areas, avoid it.

Their advertisements have become out of control. The most recent time I opened the app I had a timed advertisement I had to watch and then when I went to click on the setting I wanted that moment a pop-up popped up over my button and then I accidentally had to deal with another advertisement. I will not be buying another product from sound core.
