Edit: downgrading to 1 star because the app continues to show ads that block you from using it for several seconds. This is completely unacceptable. It's a fine enough app that works for toggling the noise cancellation and changing what the controls do. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because it has started showing popup ads for other Soundcore products about once a month for a couple of days in a row, blocking access to the app for several seconds. This is unacceptable.

I love my ear buds and the app makes it easy to switch between noise reduction when I'm in the shop and ambient when I'm outside. the enhanced hearing mode is pretty cool but I haven't used it much. Being able to choose controls is also nice. I can make volume increase or decrease based on where it makes sense for me. i.e. right bud one tap increases volume, left decreases.

The whole point of getting the nice headphones for sleeping, is so you can have good sleep sounds. But despite the massive app size, they prioritize having AI assistants, ads, and a community page. The sound quality of the sleep sounds are absolutely atrocious. They sound 8 bit, how anyone could sleep to them is beyond me. Just use this app to configure your headphones, don't use the sounds or anything else. Use a third party app in bluetooth mode.
