Welcome to RadarOmega, the next-generation weather app that takes high-resolution weather data to a whole new level. More than just radar, RadarOmega provides unique data solutions for all types of weather data that is customizable depending on your needs, whether that's before, during, or after the storm.

Dedicated to providing solutions to our industry, RadarOmega created an exclusive network of weather stations featuring live video and sensor data called cyclonePORT. RadarOmega and cyclonePORT work closely with universities, emergency managers, broadcast meteorologists, and more to provide solutions for relaying critical weather information when life-threatening weather situations are imminent.

Ratings and reviews

Occassional crashes isn't really my main concern, though they do happen. I have the base (paid, $8.99) app for android and the "Hi-Res" radar reflectivity and velocity is pretty pixilated and almost unreadable. A well-designed app that would be great if the radar was better. Weather channel or Accuweather has a WAY better (higher resolution) radar display.

The radar is really grainy for a app you have to pay for. Most of the map layers aren't even available with the base app. It would be ok if the radar would be high definition which I thought it would of been. Disappointing. Update After having the app awhile and messing around with it all my comments are figured out. It may take some time for new users to figure it out. Once you do it's a pretty neat app.

I bought this app when the reviews were down at 3.3 or 3.4 so I was concerned but wanted to try it. RadarOmega has been a really nice tool in addition to the other apps I like to reference (Wx, RadarScope, etc). Even though you have the option to get a subscription, the base app has a lot of nice features. Some of the negative prior reviews mention the intuitiveness being less than ideal but I found it easy to use.
