Increase Motivation via gamification:

SIMPLE ELEGANT DESIGN
StepUp step counter has a simple, intuitive design. And most importantly no ugly ads, unlike other free pedometer apps. It is an elegant step tracker app to help you step up.

BEST FREE PEDOMETER APP

I have a galaxy watch and a fitbit. Neither sync properly with the app to show accurate steps. For example, I'm wearing my fitbit today. I show 11,837 steps on my watch and 19,049 using the app. When I use my galaxy watch, stepup usually shows 1,500 to 2,000 less steps than I achieved. I like being able to create a team for motivation, but the inaccuracies are discouraging. I have tried to sync with Health Connect, Google fit, and even fit2fit. Nothing seems to work.

Terrible app! I have a Samsung Gear watch and Samsung S24 Ultra with the latest UI. I have to sync my Samsung Health with Google Fit just for it to track my steps. The app itself doesn't work well - most of the time I just get the never-ending spinning circle of death. I'm in a group competition at work and I can't see the group I'm in and the steps don't update accurately.

I think it's great. Facebook logins, small and simple, easy on battery. Does what it says and no more. Occasionally slow to start up. Best of all, completely free with no ads, nags, or in app purchases! edit 7/19/2023: At least on android it's gotten a lot slower to refresh over time and just doesn't work at all frequently. 3 stars, good when it works, counts steps and low battery usage, plus they are beginning implementing ads. I don't blame them, but being utterly free was a big draw for me.
