I'm only using the app with the temperature sensors. Overall it's not horrible but it could use some work. Pulling long term temp data requires a Bluetooth connection and can take a LONG time. If it went over wifi it would be much faster. The widgets for temp display on the home screen are also WAY too big. The smallest widget is 2x1 and almost 80% empty space. They really need to make a 1x1 option or allow them to be manually resized.

I paid hundreds of dollars for my Switchbot devices, and now their app is sending me ad notifications. I just got one for an AI e-ink picture frame. The icing on the cake is that if I tap on the notification it doesn't even work! So I've paid hundreds of dollars for them to barge in on my life with notifications that then waste my time. Beyond that the app is not intuitive, and the connection to Google home was frustrating and almost impossible. I regret going with Switchbot.

I'm only using this along with the Switchbot switch and hub. As others have mentioned, it's great when it works. Automation, voice commands, etc. But every few days, it disconnects from the internet and deletes all my saved automation. (All of my other connected devices are fine. I have eufy cameras, nest thermostat and locks, and most appliances are smart as well) Bought this for when going on vacation and that obviously won't help if it doesn't work after a few days.
