This app worked for years on my phones. I did NOT upgrade my Samsung phone, but all of a sudden, the app no longer works. Research shows it's a well-known issue that, apparently, Night Owl has ZERO intention of fixing. I'm so glad this happened just before we were preparing to invest in more cameras. Looks lime we will be spending our money on a different camera company. And now I have to go tell people I suggested these cameras to, to not bother.

Until now, I have never had any problems with Night Owl surveillance system! In fact, I have been using the Owl for about 15 years. This is my 2nd NDVR only because of the 1T capacity! I have replaced to Camaras, however I think it is because I didn't have any weather protection for them at all. That probably shortened the life. Have always been able to go to my app and click on to see my house when I was away. Until now, I have not exalted all efforts to locate the problem. Has been a great sys

The system worked for a while, good quality pictures, easy to operate. After a year or so , dvr stopped recording. We bought another system, and it worked for few months, then more problems. It only works in live view, and now only shows in black and white. I have had nothing but problems out of the this app too. It freezes constantly. My husband has an IPhone and he can view remotely in the live view. So, the app for iPhone seems to be much better than the android app. Very Disappointed!
