We are a security company and we take YOUR security seriously. All streaming video is direct from your local DVR to your mobile device with no 3rd party buffers in between, including us. Additionally, our app gives you full control of:

- EasyPan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) device control
- On-demand recording and still image/video captures
- Zoom, pan, playback, etc. abilities using standard swipe gestures

a lot of people still use your camera systems and this is the only app that supports them. since you are still running 32 bit app, why not update so that we can still use the app with the newer versions of Android?? guess because you want us to purchase newer cameras. I'll go to another brand and ditch night owl, you don't care about your customer too much!!!

I've had my night owl for several years, but for a few months now, I can't bring up on the app and have scanned info from the system to the phone & it still won't connect! Everything is correct. What's the problem? Night owl you need to fix! What's the point of having, if we can't bring up live on phone/app @ home or away! Not a happy camper. If I'm not home to look at the monitor, can't access my cameras for security

Most of the time my mobile app does not work. When I'm away from home I can't see my cameras it just brings up the black camera screen like it's buffering. Once in a blue moon they will work but not often. Don't know how to fix it. Would love some help if possible. Even when I have great signal strength (phone and wi-fi) it still doesn't work!!!

Hello Steve, we are very sorry for the issue you are currently experiencing. Please know we recommend having a reliable Wi-Fi connection when attempting to remotely connect to your Night Owl DVR. Also, we suggest having an internet connection that has a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps. Please do not hesitate to contact our technical support team.

What’s new

Our first update of the Fall has arrived! The Night Owl engineers have been living on coffee and fast food so they can eliminate a bug affecting push notifications. Just like you, we do not like bugs! Where ever you may be, please stand and give these guys an ovation. The issue has been fixed. Remember to have your camera working as Halloween is right around the corner. Who will be watching your home when you are out hoarding candy? Secure. Protect. Connect.
