Accessibility Services Disclosure: Bitwarden offers the ability to use the Accessibility Service to augment Autofill on older devices or in cases where autofill is not working correctly. When enabled, the Accessibility Service is used to search for login fields in apps and websites. This establishes the appropriate field IDs when a match for the app or site is found and inserts credentials. When the Accessibility Service is active Bitwarden does not store information or control any on-screen elements beyond inserting credentials.

Ratings and reviews

I've used BW for a few years now. It has some issues on some apps/devices/sites, in general, but overall gets it done...until I got a new Android 14. I have turned on all settings needing on, no battery opti, yet it simply will not integrate with some extremely important apps, like banking. Trying to force it to fill from tiles in pulldown menu tells me to turn on settings which are on already. Tried uninstall, logout, turning settings off then on, etc, no luck. Very frustrating for new phone.

Good but would be great if it worked. Half the time it won't detect that you're on a login screen to save a password or to enter one. Then if you have passwords saved in different places and import them into but earden, then get ready for duplicates upon duplicates with no way to remove them except manually one by one. It's been this way for a very long time, so you should not anticipate this thing getting any better.

I've tried all password managers there is out there bitwarden wins the contest. But still can't give a five-star rating that's because the Android auto fill is horrendous. Period! That's where I mostly use it and that's where I need it to perform its best. Either it does not detect at all fill in forms or when it does detect it takes extremely long to detect and sometimes when you're in a hurry and you just cannot wait it is extremely nerve-wracking.
