Terrible. The old app was great. I could save my favourite journeys, see my whole journey on one screen. It had genuinely useful features. This is now just a link to the web page. I have to input my journey every time I open it, scroll through several screens. It's a waste of time. This appears to be a cost cutting exercise with no regard for customer service.

The old app did roughly what you needed it to do, including, with a bit of mucking about, things like working out if the delayed train you are on is likely to make the planned (or any) connection or would it be better to change tactics. The new version seems almost entirely unable to do anything you need, except the absolutely most basic query. But it can give you unwanted resets, surprise timeouts, freezes, and irrelevant pages in answer to your query. Other than that, a terrific upgrade.

Poorest public transport app possible. You'd have to work very hard to create something as bad as this. Not sure what National Rail's motivation is? Previous app experience wasn't ideal, but you were able to find what you wanted in a minimalistic UI. The recent "update" is a complete waste of everyone's time and money. Seems to be just a webview of the general website, wastes space, forces yet more ads on you and can't even keep track of previous searches. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Hi Gerhard, when developing the new app, we carried out research which revealed that customers would benefit from more white space between information. We are looking at how we can improve the look, whilst still maintaining accessibility and all the required information, and hope to roll out a solution our customers will be happy with soon.
