For me the "convenience" is not worth the high prices that are charged. Very limited menu for beef, however more options for pork, chicken and fish dishes. Not to mention that the wedges that come with any beef dish you do find are at best sub par verging on disgusting. Unfortunately now I have a commitment to fill with overpriced, mostly not that great food. I will say that the meat is at least high quality even if the sides are sub par.

Tablestakes (ha!): notifying when a meal is ready. This app, alas, doesn't do that. Or rather it does, but typically 10-12 minutes late. Interestingly, the iOS version doesn't have this problem for me. And frustratingly, it seems that the Tovala crew has know about this issue for at least a year (based on their responses here), but... yeah :(. 2 stars instead of 1 because the app still has *some* (moderately) useful functionality.

the food is great, the oven is great, but the app leaves something to be desired. at first it was giving me notifications for when my food was done but it isn't anymore, which has led to things getting burnt because i usually am on the other side of the house. it took almost an hour to get it hooked up to another wifi. everywhere i look says there's a settings section of the app, but it's missing from mine. again, i love the food, but the app could use some work, especially when i rely on it.
