About this app

Use the Mobile Cooling app to control your CFX3 fridge/freezer from a distance, providing you have a suitable Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection to connect your phone to your CFX3.


Use the Mobile Cooling app to:

· Control and monitor temperatures remotely (Wi-Fi connection, distance depends on environment)

· Turn your CFX3 off/on, and/or control individual compartments

· Set your battery protection level

· Select temperature unit (°C or °F)

· View which power source your CFX3 is running on – AC or DC

· View the supply voltage level if running on DC power

· See whether your CFX3 lid is open, and receive an alert if left open for more than 3 mins

This app is a Giant step backward from the former CFX3 app. It seems they renamed it, took away some features and changed the visual appearance for no particular good reason. It no longer provides the history of either power/amerage use or temperature. If fact it provides almost nothing except the present temperature and the present temperature setting. Please restore the old features!

Viewing history causes the app to crash. I'm sure dometic is working to fix all the problems and will have an update ready soon. Two stars is harsh, but appropriate because the old version worked well and isn't available anymore. Please fix, or roll back to the previous version of the app. Update: History now works well, thanks for the fix. Upgrade from 2 to 4 stars. However, the y-axis on the amp/hour graph seems wrong. The values go from 0 to 0 to 0 to 1 to 1 rather than 0, 0.2, 0.4...

The old app worked perfectly every time and was very useful. The new app has a hard time pairing via Bluetooth, often doesn't connect saying the unit is out of range, and even when it does connect, many of the feature buttons don't work! Bring back the old app, at least until you figure out what you did to destroy this one.
