Can't upload videos of routines or plays from a game, only 9 people per conversation (when you don't want to do an announcement), no calendar available to mark events and set reminders, difficult to navigate communication threads when part of many groups, and there is not an easy way to share documents (you have to take a picture and then upload that picture) you can only upload one picture at a time. I have used much better apps but this is the only one approved through the school district.

It's a fairly simple app to use. No bells and whistles, does what it says. The inability to mark things as read or clear notifications in the app is annoying. The character limit is also a hindrance. Aside from those two things, I like it. Edit: This is great for sending messages but terrible for receiving them. Often I'll get a notification that I have a message but the message will not show up. Even if I go to the message history for that person, nothing new appears.

Great feedback! A regular SMS is limited to 160 characters by cell carriers. We use 20 for your class name or signature, leaving the remaining 140 characters for your message. Our new Remind Plans include new features like much higher character limits. If you think your administration might be interested, you can send them here: remind.com/plans.

Update: a year+ later, reducing to two stars. Hard to figure out. Wouldn't give push notifications for ages. Just all around annoying. Only okay. It has some bugs and requires too many taps to get from place to place. I had to sign up/sign in, like, six times, then it stuck me on the "join a class" screen until I joined another class that I didn't need.
