Can’t find your Woolies store card temporarily? Freeze it in our app so no one can use it. Definitely lost your card or it’s been stolen? Block it and arrange a replacement in our app.

Get funds
You can conveniently apply for a store card, credit card, personal loan, or a credit limit increase directly on our Woolies app.
With our personal loan, you can access funds up to R150,000 with repayment terms from 12 to 60 months. Monthly repayments are required, and as you repay, you can reuse your available funds. Interest rates are variable.
 
Here’s an example to give you an idea of what repayments could look like for illustrative purposes only (figures are approximate and subject to interest rate changes).
Based on a loan of R75,000 at a variable interest rate of 21%(linked to repo rate), a monthly service fee of R69 and initiation fee of R1,207.50.
 
Over 12 months – R6,983.53 (Total cost: R84,630.40)
Over 24 months – R3,853.92 (Total cost: R94,150.17)
Over 36 months - R2,825.63 (Total cost: R104,206.68)
Over 48 months - R2,322.43 (Total cost: R114,788.50)
Over 60 months - R2,029.00 (Total cost: R125,880.12)
 
The total cost of loan per repayment term is subject to not reusing funds and excluding balance protection.

There are 2 major problems with this app. 1: it's incredibly slow. Navigating the app and interacting with it is very slow. 2: I am fortunate enough to have been able to register for the app successfully, but three other people that I know are unable to. They have brought the issue up with Woolworths's technical support with no resolution. The new rewards system is linked to the app. This means they cannot benefit from the MyDifference rewards at all. Please tell me this will be fixed.

The app is very frustrating to use. It's slow, and basic navigation like browsing or managing the cart is a chore (uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix anything). The substitution feature is broken, not all products that are available to purchase show up in the substitution search results. This makes grocery shopping unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming. I expected a better app from a place like Woolies.

Hi Zelda, we are working on some major upgrades in the next few months, watch our for a new search function in the next two weeks. Subs - they don't show everything on sale, because we check local stock first. You can also search in the subs selection section. We will come back to you to see how you feel about the updates - check 13th August.

I have used this app since 2021. I'm very happy with the app. some navigation issues, but easy enough. I have always been happy with getting my deliveries, except for when you pay for something and when you get your delivery, only to see some items are missing... No stock. Even though there was stock when you paid for it. Recently, I have been trying to get into my account only to get asked to sign in. When I do that, it takes very long, or I can't get in at all. It has been 15 minutes so far.
