I’ve been a loyal Takealot customer for over ten years, but the recurring issue with inaccurate stock levels is frustrating. Ordering niche items often results in weeks of waiting, only to be told the item is out of stock. Receiving a store credit after the fact doesn't compensate for the wasted time or the missed opportunity to purchase the item elsewhere. In 2026, stock availability should be verified before a customer checks out. Do better.

I absolutely love shopping on Takealot! 🛍️❤️ The app is so easy and convenient to use, and there’s such a huge variety of products to choose from. I love that I can shop from the comfort of my home, compare prices and read reviews before making a purchase. The ordering process is quick and simple, and my parcels always arrive so nicely packaged . The convenience of having everything delivered straight to my door is honestly unbeatable! 😍📦 Takealot has made online shopping so easy

Don't accept 1star reviews for products with false advertising and their quality also feels like Wish products. Most of the products and quality were what was advertised. Some of the "sold by" companies don't have a number or website to order replacement parts. I have learned it the hard way when a replacement part broke and I needed to find a replacement. NOW IT'S An expensive brick.
