About this app

OneDrive is the one place for everything in your work and personal life. It gives you free online storage for all your personal files so you can get to them from your Android device, computer (PC or Mac), and any other devices you use. With OneDrive for Business, you also get storage for your work files so you can share and collaborate on them with other people at your work or school. The OneDrive app for Android lets you easily work with your personal and work files when you’re on the go:

• Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you.
• Automatically upload photos and videos to your personal OneDrive account using Camera backup.
• Share your files.
• Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders.
• Open your OneDrive files in other apps, including Office apps.
• Quickly get to documents you've recently opened.
• Search for your files and folders.

Notes:
For you to sign in to OneDrive for Business, your organization needs to have a qualifying SharePoint Online or Office 365 business subscription plan. You can't sign in with an account from an on-premises directory.
Camera backup, search, sort, and the ability to add OneDrive for Business accounts are available only on devices running Android 4.0 or later.

What once was good.... is now a useless app. Even after all these months of issues it still hasn't been sorted or improved. No longer in any way am I, or others I know able to transfer ANY files from phone to onedrive.. we've given up trying to transfer important documents, files, or even our original photography shots and videos (especially for clients) because its automatically stopped as it cannot transfer them. Paid for 1TB, and now got fk all use for it. POINTLESS!! Google Drive works tho.

Pls be extremely careful of this app for Android. The camera backup functionality is broken (have raised a ticket too but ...) Don't trust when this app says you can free space by removing your device files after camera backup is enabled. It may work the first time. But if you turn off for some valid reason, did a cleanup, and then turn it on, it does not sync back. It only sync's the newer files. Also, there are issues with the sync itself. Some non-burst photos are not sync'ed at all.

Literally Uncontrollable. I have used a MS mail account for 2 decades. Suddenly OneDrive starts randomly backing stuff up on my pc. I turn it off after many attempts. I delete everything. Next day my storage is is overfull with files I deleted. Recycle bin is empty. Files I try to delete it says resource can't be found. There is no select all option, fyi. So, I am at 150% storage and it is impossible to remove anything. Now I CAN'T USE MY EMAIL. After 20 years guess I must go gmail?

What's new

You can now display your media files on a Chromecast receiver or TV from a compatible device. Look for a Cast icon showing in the top toolbar. We hope you enjoy this top-requested feature!
