Ratings and reviews

It keeps notifying me that it's on, every time I enter or exit a safe application it shows up, and it seems to be on a ten minute timer between notification, or maybe 5. It's annoying and kinda unnerving at times. Watching YouTube about fictional villains, boom the notification pops up; The app's good and it's trusty, but it doesn't let you breath. Update: turning off notifications only works until you shut off your device, when you turn it back on, it turns itself back on. That should be fixed.

Hi, My phone was hacked. I found suspicious apps running in the background, such as MDMApp controlling my phone remotely, and they togged out many functionality of the apps, so I can't disable or change them. I installed Mcafee antivirus as soon as I bought my phone. Mcafee discovered computers and technology when I ran the scan last June, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any company with that name. Mcafee could not recognise any of these suspicious apps when I ran the scan.

Have used McAfee for years and have yet to be disappointed. Used to have my own business; selling, building, and repairing computers, I have used McAfee since the mid 80's and always recommended it to my customers, but I was never disappointed except how expensive the price has gotten. May be confusing at times but does it job plus some. Actually, I would give 10 stars, except for new users, it could be very confusing & little hard for them to understand how exactly to set everything up & price.
