The app stops at least once every time I use it. A connectivity message comes up, but all my other apps still work in the meantime, so I don't know what the problem is. Especially annoying while driving. Often won't reconnect. Playlists for new music tend to have 4 or 5 tracks. I want new artists as often as possible. Shuffles playlists when you haven't set it to shuffle. I wouldn't go back to Spotify, but I will see what else is out there. Tidal is a let down.

I want to like the app and it is usually fine when it comes to listening on my phone. However, when using it with Android auto, it plays a bit and then suddenly stops with a message like "tidal can't load the song", but then I can immediately go back and load up another song and it works fine for a bit before stopping again.

The audio quality is where it shines, compared to the competitors (and subscription fee is more affordable). No ads with only 30 seconds of listening when you don't have a subscription is fine. I would love it more if the app had an Equalizer and up to 120 seconds of crossfade. The 2-10 second pause between tracks breaks your vibes (offline mode) and the option to repeat the whole list when you reach the end doesn't seem to work (must pull up the app to re-shuffle).
