Ratings and reviews

Next to impossible to sign up. I downloaded the app and launched it. It wants me to sign in. I want to use my own password, so I switch to a different app to deal with my password ... and this one vanishes. So I try again, making password up in my head and writing it down (which I never do), and it emails me a confirmation code so I switch to email app, and this one vanishes again. It doesn't get much more FAIL than that, and I haven't even signed in yet.

The mobile and desktop apps really need to be streamlined. Mobile notifications for messages I already read on desktop don't get cleared, so I end up having to read through and clear the redundant notifications on my phone. Not exactly a good use of time. I like Slack, but with the shift to work from home, I get more messages and notifications than ever, and this is getting really annoying.

This app is terrible. Only way to know if someone has sent a message is to reopen the app, go to a specific dm, open it, and sometimes even this is delayed by an hour. It doesn't interact with my phone's notifications, even with every permission enabled. Others have the same problem, but I'm half afraid that it's still going to cost me my job at some point. My other apps don't have this issue. A piece of paper with everyone's phone number to text would be more efficient. Please fix this.
