I have had this app for a long time. I have had problems with the notification sound not working. It doesn't work, and I am missing all of my chats. I have tried everything! I have uninstalled/ reinstalled, contacted support with no response! There appears to be a glitch in the app! This message is to the developers, please fix your app, and have support response! Right now, I am looking for a better chat app that really works, and I don't miss my chats!

I use g.chat at work with coworkers. it's great for several reasons and is a fine alternative to slack and MS-teams, especially if you're a Google workspace company. the downsides are: the channels are automatically sorted by most recently updated. the share option on phone ("share to..") is a weird submenu and also changes order. integration is limited and seems like it requires broad security permissions (admin) to Google Workspace to manage or integrate.

This app keeps crashing when I am trying to answer an incoming video call. The receiving call keeps ringing when I try to answer, and there is no whare to tap to answer. When opening the app, it only is showing my contacts to call out. Not the tap to reply screen. I have a Samsung S24 Ultra, so it has nothing to do with my phone quality. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled to see if there is any change. The only change is the ring tone, and the screen doesn't use the full screen.
