about to delete this app. I used to use it frequently, and I even had snap+, but I stopped using it as much and then started to notice an increase in dumb notifications. I had very specific notification settings, most things were turned off to manage the number of notifications, but I was getting notifications for things that had been turned off. I think that's a shady practice to get people using the app again, and honestly it sickened me to the point I cancelled my snap+ and will delete.

The amount of adds ive been getting is insane. Every single time i go on spotlight, I get constant adds. whenever i'm watching something on spotlight, the video randomly cuts out to an add. It's genuinley so annoying. Also, for some reason, I always get random notifications recomending me to follow some people i don't know. I always get so many random notifications for no reason, ive had to turn it off. No wonder why this app died so quickly.

I pay for snap plus and have never received ads since... I've now started to get ads at least 2-3 times a day depending on if I've opened the last one they invasively sent... the lens thing is obnoxious... again, I already pay. but apparently the amount I've paid isn't enough for access to the lenses that, not to mention, they require an entirely separate app for... app is going downhill quick. if it weren't for multiple streaks I have over 1k+ I would have deleted this app months ago.
