Ratings and reviews

Currently, I cannot open the YouTube app at all. I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy A15, and for the first week or so, it was all running beautifully. However, for some reason beyond me, YT freezes on its launch screen. I've tried closing and reopening it, clearing the cache, restarting my phone, disabling and re-enabling it. By this point, it feels more like an app issue than one I can fix. Would love if I'm wrong! But possibly not!

Youtube is great thanks to all of its creators, making wide variety of quality content. But the app is what I don't like. It tries to immediately feed you another thing, be it ad or next video, instead of letting you think for a while about the thing you just saw. Also the ads are intrusive. I understand that there must be some ads and I'm okay with that, but e.g. when you're scrolling through video description (when the video is ending) and suddenly you're force fed an ad, that just sucks.

Something has gone terribly wrong. I kept getting an error message that Youtube app wasn't responding, I could not open at all. I restarted my android phone, didn't help, I cleared the cache, didn't help, I deleted all the data and was able to get to YouTube (now without any downloads but at least had my playlists), but as soon as I tried to download a video, again the app stopped responding. And I have Premium!! Maybe something wrong with the updated version, but then don't roll it out!!
