Ratings and reviews

Ads have been getting more annoying over the years. It used to be 2 ads where you had the option to skip the ad after 5 seconds. Now 90% of the time I get 2 unskipable ads that reach from 6-20 seconds. Youtube shorts is horrible. Sometimes I watch it, but I get reminded every time why its horrible. The recommended videos never match me, most of the shorts are low quality, views and cringe content. I wish there was a function to just disable shorts or at the very least choose certain filters.

As a mobile app, YT is excruciating. It is nearly impossible to find a particular spot in a video when the video is longer than 10 minutes. Navigating the temporal aspects is hideous. Worse, you cannot switch to a different screen when YT is open without closing the video. This makes it also difficult to put your mobile device anywhere but on a flat surface (e.g. not in your pocket). Furthermore, the monetizing aspects are furiously intrusive.

This app is just getting worse, I can't even watch videos anymore without any ads popping up. In the beginning of the video, in the middle and in the end. But it's not a 6sec ad it's a 15-30sec ad. I don't enjoy it anymore. It's just annoying. Also the ads are getting longer like how can y'all even let a over 3min ad pop up??
